1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to the website www.werox.co.il (the “Website”), operated by Rox Studios (“Rox”, “we”, “us”), Haarbaa 30 St., Tel Aviv, Israel, tel. 0747-300070, email [email protected]. We process personal information in accordance with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, including Amendment 13 to that law.
Browsing the Website does not require you to give us personal information. Where we need your consent, we ask for it separately.
2. Information we collect and why
- Contact form. Name, phone number and email address are required. Your message is optional. We use this information only to reply to your inquiry. You are not legally required to provide it, but without it we cannot respond. We do not use it for marketing newsletters.
- Analytics and advertising measurement (only with your consent). If you accept the relevant categories in our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics, which measures how the Website is used (pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, how visitors arrive), and Google Ads conversion measurement, which records that a contact form was submitted after a visit that started from one of our ads. These tools use pseudonymous identifiers. If you decline, they are not loaded.
- Your cookie choices. When you use the cookie banner, our consent provider (CookieYes) records your choice and the time, as proof of your consent.
- Technical and security data. Our servers and our content delivery and security provider record your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the time of access, for security and operation. Our server logs are kept for up to 90 days.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
- When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings control provided by the banner.
- The banner stores your choice in a strictly necessary cookie named
cookieyes-consent, so that we do not ask you again on every visit. - If you accept, Google may set cookies such as
_ga,_ga_*and_gcl_*on your browser. See policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/cookies. - Project pages on the Website embed videos from Vimeo. We ask Vimeo not to track viewers (the “do not track” setting), but when a video loads Vimeo still receives your IP address and technical information. See vimeo.com/privacy.
- Fonts and scripts used by the Website are served from our own servers. Links to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn are plain links: those networks receive information only if you click them.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Website works without non-essential cookies.
4. Who receives your information
We share personal information only with providers that help us run the Website and respond to you: our hosting provider, our email service provider, our content delivery and security provider (Cloudflare), our cookie consent provider (CookieYes), Google (Analytics and Ads, only if you consent) and Vimeo. We may also disclose information where the law or a competent authority requires it, or to protect our legal rights. We do not sell personal information.
5. Transfers outside Israel
Some of the providers above process information outside Israel, including in the United States. We transfer information only to providers that undertake to protect it to a standard consistent with Israeli law.
6. How long we keep information
Inquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless a business relationship or a legal duty requires longer. Server logs: up to 90 days. Analytics data: for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, no longer than 14 months. After that we delete the information or make it anonymous.
7. Information security
We protect information with measures that include encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, regular software updates and security monitoring, in line with the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 2017. No system is completely secure. If an incident affects your information, we will act as the law requires.
8. Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. You may withdraw any consent you gave, including cookie consent. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. You may also complain to the Privacy Protection Authority at www.gov.il.
9. Children
The Website is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its date at the top.
